our materials

We are the ultimate in heirloom quality rag dolls, lovingly handcrafted from the highest quality natural and recycled materials. Our thick hair is made from organic cotton. Our skin is made from hemp. Our clothes are made from sustainable materials including organic cotton and recycled cotton blends. Our soft stuffing is made from recycled plastic containers.

OUR PACKAGE
Check out our cool package. It was designed with the three R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
REDUCE: The Earth friends box is only as big as it needs to be to fit the doll.
REUSE: The Earth Friends box easily converts to a closet with a hanger. You can undress your doll and hang up the clothes. Collect other outfits and keep your new Earth Friends entire wardrobe in the box!
RECYCLE: The Earth Friends box is made from 100% post-consumer waste recycled cardboard. There are no plastic windows or protective coatings making the box completely recyclable.

OUR PLANTING KIT
Inside my backpack is a Hope Tree Planting Kit™ just for you. It contains Douglas Fir tree seeds, a magic grow pellet made from responsibly harvested coconut coir, and complete planting instructions. Earth Friends know we need more trees to make clean air and create habitat. Go to our adventures to learn even more great ways to help Mother Nature.

OUR CARE
We are hand-washable. Please do not immerse our hair in water. Clothing is machine washable, gentle cycle. Hang to dry.

OUR ORIGINS
We are constructed with care from the finest eco - materials. Our strong fabric is made from hemp grown in China. Our hair is made form organic cotton yarn grown and dyed in Peru. Our clothing and stuffing are made from recycled and organic fibers sourced right here in the USA. Our backpacks contain seeds ethically wildcrafted from National forests in the US. We are sewn and assembled with pride in California.
